The Ghanaian Embassy in Doha has called on Ghanaian citizens affected by Qatar’s airspace closure and the suspension of regular commercial flights to urgently submit their travel details to the mission.
In a statement issued on March 12, the Embassy said the request follows directives from Qatari authorities aimed at assisting stranded travellers after disruptions to flight operations.

Ghanaians with valid Qatar Airways tickets who are either in transit in Doha or living in Qatar and awaiting departure have been asked to provide their full names, passport biodata pages, and copies of their flight tickets.
The Embassy instructed affected individuals to send the required information via email to doha@mfa.gov.gh so that officials can liaise with the relevant authorities to facilitate their return to Ghana or onward travel.
According to the mission, the information will help coordinate travel arrangements and ensure that Ghanaian nationals affected by the situation are assisted as quickly as possible.
