Aduana F.C. coach Cioabă Aristica admits his side has a goal-scoring problem after failing to score in consecutive Ghana Premier League matches.

The two-time league champions dropped from the top of the standings following Sunday’s 0-0 home draw against Holy Stars, which came after a 1-0 defeat away to defending champions Gold Stars.

“Yes, it is a problem for the team. You know from the last game against Gold Stars, we had the same issue of missing opportunities that looked very easy to score,” Aristica said.

He added, “In the last match against Holy Stars, it was the same situation. For 45 minutes, we pressed the opponents and had clear, clear goal-scoring opportunities. Really incredible six chances, and if the players are not able to score, then it is a problem for us.”

Aristica’s comments underline Aduana’s urgent need to improve attacking efficiency as the league season continues.
