Residents of Amasaman Obeyeyie have staged a protest to demand urgent government action over the deteriorating condition of roads in the community, citing years of neglect and worsening transport challenges.

The demonstrators expressed frustration over the poor state of the road network, saying it has disrupted daily commuting, affected business activities, and limited access to essential services such as healthcare and education. They noted that several sections of the roads become nearly impassable during the rainy season, increasing hardship for residents.

The protesters called on the relevant authorities to prioritise the rehabilitation of the roads, warning that continued delays could further isolate the community and negatively impact livelihoods. They stressed that improving the road infrastructure is essential to enhancing mobility, connectivity, and economic activity in the area.
