The family of late Ghanaian actress Beverly Afaglo has announced that her final funeral rites will take place on Friday, August 7, 2026, at the Lashibi Funeral Home.
The announcement was made during her one-week memorial service held on Saturday, May 30, 2026, at the Green Flavour Events Centre. The gathering brought together family members, colleagues, friends and admirers who paid tribute to the actress’s life and legacy.
The memorial was marked by emotional scenes, including the symbolic release of white balloons as mourners reflected on her impact on Ghana’s film industry and remembered her remarkable career.
Afaglo passed away on Sunday, May 24, 2026, following a reported two-year battle with cancer. Over a career spanning more than two decades, she featured in several notable Ghanaian productions, including Return of Beyonce, Crime to Christ, Girls Connection, Never Again, Turn Me On, The Game and Single Six.
She also appeared in productions such as Equatorial Escape, Secret Burden, The King’s Bride, Total Exchange, PlayBoy, Big Girls Club, CEO and About to Wed.
