Ghana’s U-20 women’s national team, the Black Princesses, have touched down in Nelspruit ahead of their second-leg FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup qualifying match against South Africa.

The squad left Accra on Tuesday night aboard a South Africa Airways flight and landed in Nelspruit Mbombela at approximately 12:00 pm Wednesday. Upon arrival at OR Tambo International Airport, the team was welcomed by officials from the Ghana Mission in South Africa before proceeding to Nelspruit.

Following a 2-2 stalemate with South Africa at the Accra Sports Stadium last Sunday, the Black Princesses face an uphill task to advance to the fourth and final qualifying round. The team requires a convincing win to progress to the next stage of the qualifiers.

The second leg is scheduled for Saturday, February 14, 2026, at Mbombela Stadium in Nelspruit, South Africa, kicking off at 15:00 GMT.
