Amapiano sensation DJ Azonto has demonstrated massive love to Ghana’s dancehall ‘King’ Shatta Wale after purchasing tickets for his Akropong show.
Shatta Wale is billed to perform at Reema Lounge in Akropong on Saturday, August 24, 2024.DJ Azonto, who is one of the invited guests, has bought a table at the show, which is estimated to cost $1m.
According to DJ Azonto, Shatta Wale is someone he really admires and happens to be the favourite artist of his mom.So he decided to show this kind gesture to a multiple-award-winning reggae/dancehall artiste who is set to thrill fans in Akropong.
“I think this kind gesture of mind should be emulated by other artistes. We should support one another when it comes to shows because that is what Nigerian artistes do.
“I decided to buy the whole table at the show because Shatta Wale is loved by mom, who is also around to support him during the show,” he said.
DJ Azonto is expected to hold a lavish birthday for his mother, who is often known as Mama Sarah, on Saturday, August 17, 2024.
The ‘Fa No Fom’ also announced his intention to open a microfinance business in October following his performance at Dr Bawumia NPP Rally a few weeks ago.
