The Ghana Education Service (GES) has announced the full release of all outstanding feeding grants owed to special schools and senior high schools (SHSs) across the country, ensuring uninterrupted school feeding programmes.

In a statement issued on Friday, December 12, GES confirmed that the pending grants for special schools covering the 3rd term of the 2024/2025 academic year and the 1st term of 2025/2026 have been fully disbursed. The service also cleared all arrears for perishable supplies owed to SHSs and senior high technical schools (SHTSs) for the period between July 29 and October 17, 2025.
The funds have been successfully transferred into the respective school accounts, enabling institutions to continue providing meals and related services without disruption. GES has reminded heads of special schools, SHSs, and SHTSs to submit official receipts acknowledging the receipt of the funds to the Director-General via their Regional Accountants, as part of monitoring and accountability procedures.
GES thanked school authorities for their cooperation and reaffirmed its commitment to supporting effective teaching, learning, and inclusive education across Ghana.
