League One side AFC Wimbledon have completed the signing of Ghanaian international defender Andy Yiadom on a contract running until January 2027.
The 34-year-old joins the club following the conclusion of an eight-year tenure at Reading, where he accumulated 253 appearances. In total, Yiadom brings nearly 400 English Football League (EFL) appearances across three divisions to his new team.
“I’m grateful for the opportunity to play for Wimbledon and I’m ready to give my all for the team. I’m really excited to get involved in the games that we have coming up,” Yiadom said.
Earlier in his career, the defender spent four years with Barnet, making 177 appearances under manager and former Netherlands international Edgar Davids.
On the international stage, Yiadom earned 26 caps for the Black Stars of Ghana between 2017 and 2022.
