The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has announced the temporary unavailability of Ghana’s online passport application platform due to technical challenges.
In a statement issued on Tuesday, August 25, 2026, the Ministry said applicants may experience difficulties accessing passport.mfa.gov.gh to submit their applications.
The Ministry said its technical team, working with the National Signals Bureau, is taking steps to restore the platform as quickly as possible.
It apologised to the public for the inconvenience and assured customers that an update would be provided once the system has been restored.
