Ghana’s men’s 4x100m relay team finished fourth in Heat 3 at the World Relays in Botswana on Saturday, narrowly failing to secure an automatic qualification spot for next year’s World Athletics Championships in Beijing.
The Ghanaian quartet, consisting of Abdul Rasheed Saminu, Benjamin Azamati, Joseph Paul Amoah, and Edwin Gadayi, recorded a time of 38.18 seconds. The team finished behind South Africa, Great Britain, and China, who occupied the top three positions in the heat.
