The Minister for Lands and Natural Resources, Emmanuel Armah Kofi-Buah, has announced the establishment of an interim management team to supervise operations at the Adamus Mine following the revocation of the mining leases held by Adamus Resources Limited.
The move comes after the government cancelled the company’s leases on April 26, 2026, citing regulatory and operational concerns. According to the Minister, the interim arrangement is intended to safeguard investments at the mine while ensuring continuity of operations during the review process.
A committee has also been set up to assess a petition submitted by Adamus Resources Limited, with a two-week deadline to present its findings and recommendations. Authorities say the measures are aimed at protecting assets and maintaining stability at the mine pending the outcome of the investigation.
