The Ghana Revenue Authority (GRA) says it is working with technical partners to resolve intermittent challenges affecting tax payments through the Ghana.gov payment platform.

The technical issue, which began on August 14, 2026, affects payments initiated through the Integrated Customs Management System (ICUMS), Integrated Tax Administration System (ITAS) and Ghana Integrated Tax Management and Information System (GITMIS).

The GRA said the disruption is limited to payment processing and does not affect the filing of tax returns. However, some transactions may be delayed or may not immediately reflect on taxpayers’ portals.

The Authority said the matter is being treated as a priority and that outstanding payments will be processed and reflected once the technical challenges are resolved.

The disruption could affect taxpayers, importers and clearing agents who depend on the platforms to meet tax and customs payment obligations.

The GRA has assured stakeholders that measures are being taken to minimise further disruptions and urged the public to remain patient while technical teams work to restore normal payment processing.
