Mr. Nanayaw Kwakye-Boadu, Chief Executive of EduEnter Group, has been appointed Chairman of the Board of Directors of Models Union of Ghana (MODUGA).
Mr. Kwakye Boadu, who has over two decades of experience organising modelling events, including the novel environmental sanitation pageant, Miss Galaxy, Miss Knustford, and the Ghana Environmental Sanitation Awards.
An appointment letter signed by Dr. Lillian Sally Addo, Supreme Board Chair of MODUGA, congratulated Mr. Kwakye Boadu for his new role, which commences on December 1, 2024.
“As Board Chairman, you would lead the Board in setting the strategic direction of the union, ensuring effective governance, and representing MODUGA’s interests to stakeholders.
“Your leadership would guide the board in its efforts to serve the members of MODUGA. We are confident that your contributions will strengthen the union’s impact and ensure its continued success and growth.
“Your experience, expertise, and commitment to excellence will be instrumental in shaping the direction of the union during your term,” excerpts of the letter said.
Mr. Kwakye-Boadu, in response to the appointment, said he was privileged to be appointed as Board Chairman and looks forward to ensuring the growth of the organisation.
“I am thrilled to announce my appointment as Board Chairman of MODUGA. My journey began as a board member and through my multifaceted career in the entertainment and creative arts industry.
“I’ve had the privilege of mentoring and empowering numerous young talents and leveraging my expertise to promote growth and development in the industry,” he said.
Mr. Kwakye-Boadu, a seasoned broadcast journalist and TV personality, had over the years nurtured talents through various initiatives, including organising fashion shows, pageants, and events.
“This new chapter as Board Chairman is a testament to my dedication to the industry.
“I am committed to driving growth and empowerment for models in Ghana, fostering a supportive community for industry professionals, promoting excellence and professionalism, and enhancing the union’s impact through strategic partnerships and initiatives,” he added.
