President John Dramani Mahama has arrived in South Korea to begin a multi-faceted official visit aimed at strengthening diplomatic relations and driving industrial investment.

During the visit, President Mahama is scheduled to hold bilateral talks with South Korean President Lee Jae Myung and meet with the Speaker of the National Assembly, Woo Won-shik. These discussions are expected to focus primarily on deepening the economic and diplomatic ties between the two nations.

As part of his itinerary, the President will engage with the Ghanaian diaspora, including students, professionals, and residents living in South Korea. This meeting is intended to allow community members to share their concerns and experiences while reinforcing the bond between the government and Ghanaians abroad.

The visit also includes several high-profile events, such as a ship-naming ceremony at Hyundai Heavy Industries in Ulsan and a conferment ceremony at Yonsei University. President Mahama will conclude his trip with a dinner meeting involving South Korean business leaders to promote investment opportunities and enhance economic cooperation.
