President John Dramani Mahama has returned to Ghana after attending the Africa Forward Summit in Nairobi, Kenya, where African and global leaders gathered to discuss key development priorities across the continent.
The summit, co-hosted by William Ruto and Emmanuel Macron, focused on critical issues such as energy transition, healthcare reforms, and strengthening African financial institutions.
During the summit, President Mahama participated in high-level discussions on energy and green transition initiatives, joined strategic talks on African financial institutions, and co-chaired a dialogue on transforming healthcare systems across Africa.
On the sidelines of the event, he also held bilateral meetings with several international figures, including Kristalina Georgieva, António Guterres, officials of the African Continental Free Trade Area, and representatives of the International Fund for Agricultural Development.
The engagements highlighted Ghana’s continued commitment to international cooperation, economic transformation, and sustainable development efforts across the continent.
