Medeama SC, Aduana FC, and Dreams FC have progressed to the semi-finals of the MTN FA Cup following a high-stakes weekend of quarter-final action.
Medeama SC overcame Division One outfit Attram De Visser FC thanks to a commanding extra-time display. The match was decided by youngster Kelvin Nkrumah, who netted a hat-trick in the second half of extra time to secure a 3–0 victory for the Mauve and Yellow.
In another one-sided encounter, former champions Aduana FC defeated Techiman Liberty Youth 3–0. The Premier League side dominated the match to keep their title hopes alive.
The competition saw more tension at the Cape Coast Stadium, where Dreams FC edged out Heart of Lions. After the game ended 1–1 following extra time, Dreams FC triumphed 4–3 in a penalty shootout to advance.
The final semi-final spot was contested between Nations FC and Berekum Chelsea in an all-Premier League matchup. With the final four participants largely confirmed, the qualified teams are set to return to league duties before the semi-final fixtures commence.
