Ghanaian musician Samuel Yaw Antwi, popularly known as Yaw Darlington, has revealed that he is not ready for marriage, saying his full attention is currently devoted to his music career.
Speaking in a recent interview, the 2025 Telecel Ghana Music Awards Unsung Artiste of the Year stated that he believes he is still too young to take on the responsibilities that come with marriage. At 26 years old, he explained that this stage of his life requires greater focus and energy towards his creative work.
Yaw Darlington noted that his busy schedule would make it difficult to commit to a serious relationship and said he does not want to place unnecessary pressure on a partner.
Describing his dedication to his craft, the singer said music remains his top priority, adding that anyone who enters his life now would have to understand that most of his time is spent in the studio.
