On Saturday, May 25, 2024, the KNUST CCB Auditorium in Kumasi will be the centre of attraction as second premiere of Lilwin’s film ‘A Country Called Ghana’ takes place.

Following the successful first premiere at the National Theatre in Accra last Friday, the people of Kumasi will also have the chance to watch this Kumawood classic.

Nigerians Charles Awurum and Victor Osuagwu, also known as ‘Awilo Sharp Sharp,’ Paa George, and Sweet Mimi, are set to attend the Kumasi premiere.

A brief synopsis of the film, emphasises the need of Ghanaians preserving distinctive objects that exhibit our culture rather than selling them, regardless of the incentive provided.

The two-hour film also included some humorous moments, with Lilwin demonstrating some impressive English language skills.

With the movie having received impressive reviews from the public, the last premiere of the movie will be at the Eusbett Hotel in Sunyani on June 1, 2024.
