Ghanaian musician Stonebwoy has disclosed that he co-owns a rice company in Ghana, expanding his business interests beyond music.

In an interview with American-based media personality Shirley Ju, the award-winning artiste said he produces and distributes packaged Ghanaian rice under the brand name Lilo Rice. He explained that the name is derived from the first two letters of his given name, Livingstone, and that of his wife, Louisa.

Stonebwoy noted that although the company has existed for some time and has supported some of his social responsibility initiatives, he has kept the venture largely out of the public eye.

The revelation highlights the musician’s growing involvement in agribusiness alongside his music career. He also runs the Livingstone Foundation, which supports underprivileged groups in society.
