Aduana FC Chief Executive Officer, Atta Poku, has expressed strong confidence ahead of his side’s FA Cup clash against Asante Kotoko, declaring that the Dormaa-based club is heading to Kumasi with a clear mission to knock out the Porcupine Warriors.
Speaking in an interview, Atta Poku said Aduana welcomed the high-profile pairing, describing it as an opportunity to showcase the club’s quality, despite concerns about playing in Kumasi where the team has struggled in the past.
The FA Cup encounter is scheduled for February 9, 2026, at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium. The Aduana CEO noted that the club has never won the FA Cup and believes eliminating Kotoko is a crucial step toward achieving that long-held ambition.
He also revealed that more than 650 Aduana supporters are expected to travel from Dormaa to Kumasi to back the team, stressing that the players are determined not to disappoint their fans and the people of Dormaa.
The match is expected to draw significant attention, with Kotoko seeking to capitalize on home advantage while Aduana aim to make history with a famous victory in Kumasi.
