Ghanaian actress and producer Nana Adjoa Lovia has been announced as the official red carpet host for the 2026 Ghana Music Awards Europe (GMAEU), organisers have confirmed.
The event is scheduled to take place on September 12, 2026, at Langenberger Str. 9, 40233 Düsseldorf, Germany, under the theme and dress code, “Classic.”
Known for her work in film and television production, Nana Adjoa Lovia has established herself as a notable figure in Ghana’s entertainment industry, earning recognition for her fashion sense and experience at high-profile events both in Ghana and abroad.
Her appointment is expected to add glamour and style to the awards ceremony, where she will engage artistes, industry stakeholders, and guests while providing commentary on some of the night’s most notable fashion statements.
“On the red carpet, it’s not just about who you are interviewing. It’s about how you present the culture, the glamour and the story behind the looks,” Nana Adjoa Lovia said.
Organisers said her strong understanding of fashion, ranging from classic elegance to contemporary African couture, coupled with her ability to conduct engaging celebrity interviews, made her an ideal choice for the role.

Meanwhile, organisers have announced nominees for the 2026 edition of the awards, recognising outstanding achievements by Ghanaian musicians both at home and in the diaspora.
The nominees include some of Ghana’s leading artistes such as Black Sherif, Stonebwoy, Shatta Wale, King Paluta, Kofi Kinaata, Medikal, Wendy Shay, Sarkodie, Joe Mettle, Diana Hamilton, Kuami Eugene, Fameye, Kweku Smoke, and Kwabena Kwabena, alongside emerging acts making significant strides in the music industry.
