The National Identification Authority (NIA) has announced an adjustment in the prices of some services related to the Ghana Card, affecting applicants across the country.

In a public notice titled “Notice of Price Increment,” the Authority stated that the new pricing will apply to a range of services, including first-time registration, personal information updates, replacement of lost or damaged cards, nationality updates, and non-citizen card registration.

The NIA explained that the decision to review its fees was taken to enable the Authority to sustain operations and improve the quality of services delivered to the public. According to the notice, the adjustment is intended to support ongoing efforts to enhance efficiency and service delivery nationwide.

Although the Authority did not specify the revised charges in the notice, it appealed to the general public for understanding and continued support as the changes take effect.
