Ghanaian media personality Nana Aba Anamoah has commended President John Dramani Mahama and his administration for stabilising the economy nearly a year after assuming office.

Speaking in an interview on Joy FM, she rated the government between 75 and 80 per cent, stating that the economy is performing better compared to the final years of the previous administration.

According to her, President Mahama has helped restore stability, while his Finance Minister is doing an excellent job. She added that although it is still early in the government’s tenure, the current trajectory appears positive.

Nana Aba also criticised what she described as arrogance among some officials in the previous administration, saying their public utterances were often dismissive of journalists. She noted, however, that although similar traits were visible during Mahama’s first term, he appears to have learned from past experiences.

She further praised Agnes Naa Momo Lartey for her responsiveness and Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa for his accessibility.

Meanwhile, the broadcaster is preparing to host the fourth edition of her Women of Valour event in London on March 6, 2026.
