Edward Baffour, widely known by his stage name Papa Script, is set to take a bold step onto the continental stage with an African dance tour this May.

From 12th May to 24th May, 2026, Papa Script together with his new team would tour across Kenya, Nigeria, Uganda, and South Africa.

According to Papa Script, the purpose of this tour goes beyond performance but centered on dance workshops aimed at inspiring, educating, and connecting with top dancers across Africa.

Through these sessions, Papa Script  together with his team, hope to pass on his knowledge, learn from diverse cultures, and contribute to the growth of African dance as a global force.

“This tour represents more than just travel; it is a celebration of African creativity, resilience, and unity through movement,” he said in an interview.

Papa Script adds that it was a honour his roots, showcase his journey, and step confidently into the future as one of Africa’s promising dance talents.

Born on 22nd March 1997 and hailing from Manpongteng, Papa Script’s journey into dance began at a very young age.

What started as a childhood passion has now blossomed into a thriving career marked by dedication, discipline, and remarkable growth.

A proud alumnus of the University of Ghana, Papa Script has consistently balanced his academic pursuits with his love for dance, proving that talent and education can go hand in hand.

Over the years, he has built a solid reputation within Ghana’s dance scene, performing on major stages such as AfroFuture and the Telecel Ghana Music Awards (TGMA).

His versatility and unique style have also earned him features in numerous music videos, further cementing his presence in the entertainment industry.

A significant turning point in his career came in March 2025, when he joined the DGL Academy under the mentorship of Dancegod Lloyd.

As he prepares to take on this new challenge, Papa Script says he is telling his story through dancing, inspiring a generation, and leaving his mark on every stage he steps on.
