The National Service Authority (NSA) has officially launched electronic certificates (e-certificates) for National Service Personnel, marking a major step in its digitalisation drive.

In a statement issued on Thursday, January 29, the Authority announced that eligible personnel can now access their e-certificates through the NSA portal in line with approved procedures. Past service personnel may also apply for reprints of physical certificates or obtain e-certificates instantly via the portal.

The NSA clarified that the service attracts a prescribed fee and is optional. It also announced that Annual Evaluation Forms for the 2024/2025 service year have been uploaded onto the portal. Personnel in the current service year are required to download, complete and submit the endorsed forms to their respective district offices before they can access their e-certificates.

According to the Authority, accessing the e-certificate involves submitting an online request, undergoing approval, making payment, and completing identity verification using Ghana Card details and facial authentication. Once verified, the e-certificate can be downloaded directly from the portal.

The NSA urged all current and past service personnel to follow the outlined procedures carefully and called on institutions and stakeholders to recognise and accept the e-certificates. The Authority reaffirmed its commitment to using digital solutions to improve efficiency and service delivery.
