Two people have been apprehended by the Ghana Police Service in relation to the unfortunate passing of a United States of America citizen in Nyinasen, near Cape Coast, situated in the Central Region.

The suspects, identified as Wisdom Sete, a Togolese national, and Yussif Afrim, were apprehended on Friday, April 19, 2024, at Assin Prasso. They are believed to be linked to the alleged murder of Naomi Jehubiyah.

The law enforcement agency has stated that preliminary investigations suggest Wisdom Sete, who is thought to be the deceased’s fiancé, purportedly worked together with Yussif Afrim in the tragic death of Naomi Jehubiyah.

In a statement released on Sunday, April 21, the Police stated, “According to a preliminary Police investigation, Wisdom Sete, who is believed to be the fiancée of the deceased, allegedly conspired with Yussif Afrim to kill Naomi Jehubiyah.”

The deceased’s body has been transported to the Cape Coast Teaching Hospital, where it will undergo preservation and autopsy procedures to determine the exact cause of death.

Furthermore, the Police have recovered two vehicles belonging to the deceased from the suspects, who are presently in police custody aiding in ongoing investigations.
