The Electricity Company of Ghana (ECG) has announced a series of planned power outages across the Accra East, Accra West, Ashanti, Tema and Volta regions on Tuesday, June 2, 2026, to facilitate maintenance works aimed at improving service reliability.

In the Accra East Region, power supply will be interrupted from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. in Lakeside Communities 7, 8 and 9, New Legon, A&C Mall, AH Hotel, East Airport International School and nearby areas.

Customers in the Accra West Region, including residents of Oduman, Manhean, Odawna and surrounding communities, will also experience outages during the same period.

The Ashanti Region is expected to record the highest number of affected areas, with several maintenance exercises scheduled between 9:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. Communities to be impacted include Akrofuom, Wiamase, Kokotenten, Aduaneyede, Atonsu, Gyinyase, Ahinsan Estates, Kotei, Chirapatre, Daban, Apraman, parts of Sokoban, Wood Village, Asaago, Oti Kuwait Estate, Verna, BOST, Atomsu Bokro, Dompoase, Monaco, Everpure, Anyinam, Kokoben Newsite, parts of Santasi, Fankyenebra, Osam, Kyekyewere, Kwapia and nearby areas.

In the Tema Region, maintenance works are scheduled from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., affecting Lebanon Zones 3 and 4, Zenu, New York, Aviation, Lashibi, Klagon, Community 19 Annex, Tsopoli, Shilo, Agortor, Nana Farms, Lutah and surrounding communities.

Meanwhile, in the Volta Region, power supply will be interrupted from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. in Kopeiya, Nakyikope, parts of Akatsi, Ave towns, Dzodze and adjoining areas.

ECG has apologised for the inconvenience and advised affected customers to make the necessary arrangements for activities that depend on electricity. The company assured residents that power supply will be restored immediately after the completion of the maintenance exercises.
