The Ghana Police Service has interdicted five officers for acts of misconduct involving the unauthorised use of police uniforms on social media platforms.

The officers are No. 45545 G/Sgt. Samuel Agbemanyale, No. 50300 G/Cpl. Isaac Pipere, No. 51816 G/Cpl. Samuel Agbo, No. 56803 G/Cpl. Charles Oduro, and No. 14494 PW/Const. Elizabeth Dicka Korkor.

A press release issued by the Public Affairs Directorate at the Police Headquarters in Accra on Tuesday, December 16, 2025, said the action followed findings of various breaches relating to how the officers used official police attire online.

According to the statement, the interdicted officers have been referred to the Police Professional Standards Bureau for further investigations and the application of appropriate disciplinary measures.

The Police Service reiterated its commitment to professionalism and discipline, cautioning personnel against conduct that undermines the image and integrity of the Service, especially on social media.
