The Driver and Vehicle Licensing Authority (DVLA) has announced extended working hours at 16 of its offices across the country as part of efforts to improve service delivery and reduce congestion at its branches.

In a Facebook post shared on Thursday, May 14, the Authority said the selected offices will now operate from 6:00 am to 10:00 pm, Monday to Friday.

According to the DVLA, the move is aimed at providing greater flexibility for motorists, drivers, and customers seeking services such as vehicle registration, licensing, and related transactions, particularly in high-demand urban centres.

The offices operating under the new schedule include the DVLA Prestige Centre Head Office, DVLA Narhman Office, DVLA Weija Office, DVLA Tema Office, DVLA Kumasi Office, and DVLA Tarkwa Office.

Other branches covered by the arrangement are the DVLA Bolgatanga Office, DVLA Wa Office, DVLA Tamale Office, DVLA Takoradi Office, DVLA Cape Coast Office, DVLA Koforidua Office, DVLA Sunyani Office, DVLA Ho Office, DVLA Techiman Office, and DVLA Winneba Office.

The Authority said the extended operational hours form part of broader measures to improve customer convenience and enhance access to DVLA services nationwide.
