Ghanaian international striker Antoine Semenyo says Manchester City remain in contention for the Premier League title despite sitting six points behind leaders Arsenal following a 2-2 draw with Tottenham Hotspur on Sunday.

The forward, who moved to the Etihad Stadium in the January transfer window, has scored four goals since his arrival and netted again in the game against Spurs, where City let slip a two-goal advantage.

With 14 matches remaining in the season, Semenyo believes the title race remains wide open.

“We’ve got more games, 14 to go. We’re six points behind [Arsenal], it’s not the end. We have to keep going. Anything can happen. 14 games to go, they might lose a couple and we might win. The dynamic changes and we have to see what happens…” he said.

Arsenal lead the table with 53 points from 24 games, while City have 47 points in second place.

Semenyo has enjoyed a strong campaign personally, reaching 12 Premier League goals this season between his time at Bournemouth and City—his best return in England’s top division.

The Ghanaian international will look to continue his scoring form as City chase down Arsenal in the title race.
