Member of Parliament for Manhyia South, Nana Agyei Baffour Awuah, has called on government to provide documentary evidence confirming that former MASLOC Chief Executive Officer, Sedina Tamakloe-Attionu, is currently serving her prison sentence.

The lawmaker questioned the lack of publicly available records proving her incarceration, arguing that official claims regarding her custodial status must be backed by verifiable documentation. He maintained that the legal process of committing a convicted person to prison involves formal procedures, including the issuance of a warrant and the transfer of custody from law enforcement authorities to the prison service.

According to him, these records should be accessible and capable of confirming whether Sedina Tamakloe-Attionu is indeed in prison custody as government officials have stated.

Baffour Awuah further expressed concern over suggestions that parliamentary oversight may not yield additional clarity on the matter, describing such a stance as a challenge to accountability and transparency.

His remarks come amid continuing public debate over the whereabouts of the convicted former MASLOC boss, with government insisting that she remains in lawful custody while critics continue to demand greater transparency regarding her incarceration.
